I was asked to create a cake to honor the triple anniversary of Lord Buddha for the Vesak Festival.
My piece tries to capture a moment between a grandfather and his granddaughter during the Festival. Sailing out on to sea and adding their piece to a sky full of giant floating lanterns. Passing their traditions down from generation to generation.
